Hello! I’m Rona, a third-year Geological Sciences student at the University of British Columbia. I am pursuing registration as a Professional Geoscientist (P.G) preparing for a career in the consulting industry. Driven by a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a passionate interest in applied geoscience, I am excited to build a career that integrates scientific analysis with hands-on fieldwork.I currently serve as Co-President of UBC SISU, an outdoor recreation and fitness organization for female-identifying students, where I help manage and lead events. We organize introductory hikes, camping trips, and fitness studio sessions at subsidized costs to reduce barriers and provide a safe space for women on campus.
