About Ron Schibner
In 2014, I was recruited and hired as Financial Reporting Manager with S&T Bank. This opportunity was a dual role managing Regulatory Reporting and Accounting Manager, assisting with month and quarter end closing. I also assisted with completing and auditing various sections of S&T Bank\'s quarterly Press Release, Form 10Q and Form 10K. In 2018 I transitioned from back office into the retail side as a Business Banking Commercial Lender. In 2020 during the COVID pandemic l worked strictly on loans for existing business customers. In 2021 I accepted a position in Managed Assets as there was a fear of many business disruptions and a greater need to assist the Business Banking Collections department where I currently reside. During these past four years we have dramatically reduced NPL\'s (Non-performing Loans) to a record level. These reduction are reflected in all of S&T Banks external reports. Prior to joining S&T Bank, my career began in as an Accountant with Mellon Bank. When Mellon Bank merged with Bank of New York I transitioned into SEC Reporting for several years. In 2005 I accepted a promotion into the Regulatory Reporting Department as a Finance Controller, where I was the team lead until 2014 when was hired at S&T Bank. I hold a A.S. in Accounting, B.S. in Finance and M.B.A. in Management.
