I am writing to inform everyone that my time as the Senior Director of Policy & Regulatory Affairs at the Health Care Council of Illinois (HCCI) is coming to an end. Coming to HCCI to work alongside such talented colleagues: at HCCI, our members, to the many state employees and legislators I have had the chance to collaborate with; and incredible partners in our business from attorneys to accounting firms, it has all been incredible. I am particularly proud of REPRESENTING the hard work of our member facilities. Working in this industry, starting at the front-line and working my way up, I am keenly aware of how difficult the work can be, but I know that most are there as I was to make a difference in the lives of the people we served. I will stay on after October in a consulting role with HCCI through May with specific responsibilities mostly centered around transition and assisting staff.
