   With a hospitality career launched in 1987, I spent over three decades at sea with Carnival Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean International. From 1987 to 2020, I held senior leadership roles—most notably as Hotel Director, where I led high-performing teams, streamlined operations, and delivered world-class guest experiences across the globe.In 2025, I brought my passion for people and operations ashore, joining Tracy’s King Crab Shack in Juneau, Alaska, as Chief of Product Development. My focus: developing innovative products, driving revenue, building resilient teams, and creating systems that ensure every guest encounter reflects the high standards I’ve championed throughout my career.In many ways, it’s come full circle. My Norwegian grandfather fished from Ballard to Alaska generations ago, and now I find myself in the same waters, continuing the legacy, this time from the shore.I believe great experiences begin with great teams. I lead by example, invest in people, and never stop improving, because hospitality is more than service; it’s about creating moments that matter and results that grow the business.
