ABOUT RON HOWARTH

My ambitions include the continued expansion and strengthening of my management and design skills. I have no desire to slow down in my machine design experiences. I enjoy problem solving and equipment design & manufacturing. I continue in various machine design problems daily in business and work involvements. I have one registered USA patented design for a pneumatic proportional valve. I use daily several computer programs, including Solidworks Professional; My background offers experience in parallel and related fields, Equipment design, project management, purchasing, sales, office management, accounting. I have enjoyed owning and managing a manufacturing business for some 25 years of my career. I now look for contract design projects and project management. Working with clients and having close relationships with my employees over those years has added scope to my resume. A talent I have fostered from this is the ability to listen and be able to react to it. The responsibility of a small business owner brings many areas of involvements. My goals in business took a direction towards problem solving. I have the experience and training to put forward solutions, not only in the mechanical aspect of the machinery, but also hydraulic and electrical areas of that machine. Some unique machines that I have brought to the industry- Proportional air valve developed in 1990s. I hold the USA Patent for this product. The challenge was to develop a valve that would replace steam, but have the feel and control of steam.
