Significant experience in toxic torts, Uranium Mill Tailings Radiation Control Act (UMTRCA), Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA), Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Act (EEOICPA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Clean Water Act (CWA), including Waters of the United States (WOTUS) issues, Clean Air Act (CAA)National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Endangered Species Act (ESA), and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). I have extensive experience working with federal agencies including the Department of Energy, the Department of Agriculture - including the United States Forest Service, the Department of the Interior - including the Bureau of Land Management, the National Park Service, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Bureau of Reclamation, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the U.S. Geological Survey. I played a vital role in passing federal legislation related to natural resources including the Emery County Public Lands Management Act of 2018, the South Utah Valley Electric Conveyance Act, the Beaver County Land Conveyance Act, the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act of Radiation Exposure Compensation Act Amendments of and the Clean Efficient Automobiles from Adnvanced Car Technologies (CLEAR) Act of 2005. I obtained a Juris Doctor degree focused in Energy, Environment, Agriculture, Public Lands policy, Indigenous People, and Natural Resources from the J. Reuben Clark Law School. I received a BA in Government from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM.
