About Ron Carson
Dr. Ron Carson is a Fellow of the International Council on Systems Engineering, a certified Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP®), and a course facilitator for Certification Training, International, preparing participants to successfully pass the INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional examination https://certificationtraining-int.com/our-team/dr-ron-carson/Dr. Carson retired in 2015 as a Technical Fellow in Systems Engineering after 27 years at The Boeing Company. He is the author of numerous articles regarding requirements analysis and systems engineering measurement, and is the developer of numerous industry systems engineering training courses. He has been issued six US patents in satellite communications, and two patents regarding “Structured Requirements Generation and Assessment”. He is a co-author of the INCOSE SE Measurement Primer. Dr. Carson maintains a YouTube Channel,\"Ron on Requirements\", which hosts his presentations on Requirements Development, MBSE, SE Architecture, and SE Measurement from 1995 onward: Dr. Carson provides consulting services as requested in Systems Engineering methodology and training, especially in the area of requirements development and validation and systems engineering measurement. He has taught graduate students in Systems Engineering at Missouri University of Science & Technology for 11 years, and at the University of Washington (Seattle) for six years, and undergraduate engineers at Seattle Pacific University (Seattle) for nine years.Dr. Carson has a PhD from the University of Washington in Nuclear Engineering (Experimental Plasma Physics), and a BS from the California Institute of Technology in Applied Physics.
