Provide oversight of multiple IT-Pharmacy projects at this 19-hospital academic health system- Leading a systemwide Omnicell upgrade which includes implementing automated dispensing cabinets, anesthesia workstations, controlled substance managers and carousels, and integration with Epic. Project on schedule and on budget- Managed the implementation of the system’s clinical and financial applications, including the EHR, at five (5) newly acquired hospital pharmacies. This included implementing Omnicell at four (4) of the pharmacies and Pyxis at the other. Project completed on schedule and on budget- Oversaw the Specialty Pharmacy project portfolio which included up to eighteen (18) simultaneous projects, coordinating with the project managers and leadership. The pharmacy had previously experienced sluggish progress with their high-priority projects and I was able to significantly increase the project throughput while staying on budget- Led the implementation of Allscripts’ electronic prescribing of controlled substances (EPCS) across the system, enrolling over prescribers.
