I am now retired. I enjoyed almost forty years of consulting with clients regarding all aspects of taxation. While I began my career focused on federal income and estate taxes, I devoted almost all of my time for the last 30 years consulting on state tax planning, defending taxpayers on state tax audits and appealing state tax issues on behalf of taxpayers, with most of my time spent on Washington B&O tax, sales/use tax and real estate excise tax. Specialties: Washington state and municipal B&O tax, Washington sales tax, Washington real estate excise tax, Washington and municipal utility taxes, Washington leasehold excise tax, multistate sales and use taxes and state income taxes.
