Ron Bracco Vice President, Events Ron is a recognized leader within the events industry, incorporating his theatre background in design and directing to create immersive, experiential environments for his clients. His extensive background and expertise positions him to develop strategic vision for events aiming to offer engaging experiences. His business and creative vision affords him the unique ability to establish client rapport, represent their message and bring their vision to life. Ron joined the Hargrove team in 1998 and was quickly promoted to Senior Sales Executive in where he managed the negotiations of many major, high-profile events in Washington, DC and throughout the country. He became Hargrove’s creative director in 2005. Since then Ron has been instrumental in new business acquisitions for some of Hargrove’s largest accounts; he is also a coveted consultant and respected within the industry for trend-spotting and thought leadership, successfully identifying opportunities to expand Hargrove’s market and service reach. Some of his most notable Hargrove projects include distinguished events from the government sector. Ron has led the sales and design efforts for global summits, inaugural celebrations and DC’s most prominent galas including the 2009 Pittsburgh (G-20) Summit, the APEC 2011 series of meetings in the US, and the Nuclear Security Summits of 2010 and 2016. Ron championed the 2012 NATO and G8 Summits, as well as the Democratic National Convention in both 2012 and 2016. He was also instrumental in the sale, management and design of the last five presidential inaugurations. He is a member of the board of directors for Destination DC and serves as Chair of the Partnerships and Alliances committee.
