Direct, manage and expand the robust in-house immigration department (in the U.S. and India) and oversee two outside law firms. Manage and supervise the preparation of high volume business immigration visas including H-1Bs, J-1 Conrad 30/HHS waivers, L-1, TNs, O-1s, consular matters, Physician and Nurse green cards, NIW, PERM, I-140s, AOS, for employees across the various facilities in the U.S. Oversee the company\'s J-1 medical graduate programs. Manage our India affiliated team that provides U.S. support as needed. Establish and run the company’s first Corporate Blanket L Program. Reorganize, restructure, and expand the company’s Nurse & CLS immigration programs. Centralize the immigration program and processes for uniformity and compliance. Overhaul and maintain immigration policies. Convert immigration processes to electronic format for more efficient use. Advise internal business leaders, HR, recruiters, visa holder employees, and related stakeholders regarding legal issues and compliance requirements involving immigration matters. Partner with in-house labor & employment counsel on matters that cross paths with immigration law. Redesign and implement systems and processes to increase efficiency while maintaining cost effectiveness and legal compliance. Implement new best in class case management system and oversee data migration projects and system maintenance upon implementation.
