Lead over 10 matrixial clinical research projects to repurpose therapeutics as well as identify/develop/optimize in-vivo circulating and imaging biomarkers. • Collaborate with start-up companies to repurpose/develop/optimize biomarkers and therapeutics. • Responsible for imaging and clinical data generation as well as ensuring data quality/consistency/integrity, in partnership with trial managers, for 2 NIH/NINDS multicentric clinical trials (ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT04••••89 and NCT03••••81). • Monitor data acquisition and ensure data integrity for NIH/NINDS multicentric matrixial clinical programs (ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT04••••89 and NCT03••••81) as well as a Phase I-IIa clinical trial (ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT02••••28). • Support with strategic guidance and scientific aspects for regulatory submissions to federal (NIH/NINDS, US defense) and private financial institutions. • Manage federal funds and ensure solvency and compliance with financial regulatory institutions. • Lead a multimodal team of 20 members including junior and senior scientists, histologists, bio-engineer, computational biologists, CRAs as well as research nurses, and formulate strategic research plans within the Department of Neurological Surgery. ⇨ • Collaborate with clinical business experts at the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation to develop a business plan to market a novel generation of biomarkers. • Filled and submitted at the U.S Patent Office two patents and trademark (both pending) on a novel generation of biomarkers in collaboration with the Polsky Center. • Established over 5 on-going collaborations (genomics, metabolomics) for matrixial clinical research projects.
