   Driving the strategy, operations, and R&D of the 18-person data team at CircleCI. Overseeing five primary areas within the PLG data function: product analytics, business analytics, experimentation, AI/ML, and analytics engineering. Coaching managers, data analysts, data scientists, and analytics engineers to further expand the data footprint to drive impact across the business and product. Building a culture of deeper analysis over reporting to ensure value is being driven across the org. Infusing robust experimentation practices across all product areas. Building an ML function from the ground up to drive core product features and optimize marketing acquisition models. Helping incubate a generative AI cross-team initiative to identify B2B applications within the product to exponentially improve the core user experience and to further solidify CircleCI a cutting edge CI/CD product. Engaging closely with executive leadership and product and commercial management to identify data gaps, redefine core metrics, and drive robust data instrumentation/collection/tooling to ensure maximum analytical value. Driving a focused data team collaboration effort to design robust data ingestion/pipelines, optimize data models and transformations, ensure data quality of our core product data, and to reduce data infrastructure and operational overhead (tech debt). Coaching team members on data storytelling and presentation skills. Ensuring statistical rigor and through documentation on major analyses where applicable. A hands-on data analyst at my core, I run my own analyses on a daily basis. Acting as a core member of the Product and Engineering (R&D) senior leadership team driving our core self-serve user and product experience.
