Responsible for the development & execution of the Sourcing Strategy for the assigned IT, hardware and software, and Professional Business Service categories to develop, implement, program manage, and sustain premier processes and tools. •Business Services, IT Professional Support – per current definition – includes key suppliers performing consulting services, financial services, HR services, and Technical Services. •Drives Category management and Sourcing practices against best-in-class benchmarks to identify improvement projects and achieve the total best cost and value for categories. •Take ownership of corrective action and resolution for service quality issues with suppliers and internal partners. •Connect with Business Leadership where appropriate to understand Business priorities and determine appropriate execution strategies, including leading the communication strategy by establishing a reporting rigor for metrics. •Support business partners with their sourcing needs, negotiating contracts, driving cost efficiency, and delivering the best value back to the business •Handle the sourcing savings in the business preferred savings tool, making certain value delivered is accurately captured; FY 2023 personal goal surpassed by recording 3.4MM savings. •Drive the accuracy of the spend management tool and ensure that the tool can support the indirect sourcing strategy requirements for the role •Partner with appropriate support functions (legal, compliance, finance, etc.) as part of overall commodity strategy and day-to-day support of partners •Maximize the regional teams as needed to support other GCL peers to ensure a consistent global approach to commodity management.
