About Romit the Actuarial Guy Abhichandani
I come from a diverse academic and professional background. My Bachelor’s degree is in Accounting & Finance, Master’s in Economics; I have passed 9/13 Actuarial Science exams. I have worked in wide-ranging work environments, including start-ups at different growth stages, a coaching institute, an Indian Boutique Consulting firm, a Big4 Consulting Firm, and a think tank. Currently, I’m building The Actuarial Guy (website: YouTube: to make the actuarial profession easier and accessible for thousands of students across the globe.The Actuarial Guy is founded based on my passion for mathematics, probability and logic and the sheer joy and satisfaction that come from diving into these disciplines. My vision is to push the actuarial profession beyond its home-ground of insurance and expand into wider areas where actuaries can find more intellectually stimulating assignments and generate high social utility.
