ABOUT ROMEO RAMIREZ
I have worked in Education since 2009. From lecturer at three universities in Mexico, to field-based and remote sales roles for big edtech players, to leading global partnerships and strategy to improve education. Some of these, while running my own marketing agency and highly talented teams for over 10 years.I have led successful projects to implement digital learning resources and teacher training through ministries of education, school networks and strategic partners in four continents, with involvement in market strategy, relationship building, product knowledge and implementation.My background in Marketing sparks my passion for market research and branding when developing growth strategies. Having witnessed technology enhance teaching and learning outcomes for years, I am a firm believer in education as the key for the development of better individuals, communities and countries.Currently the Senior Director for International Partnerships at global nonprofit ISTE+ASCD, I have the pleasure of working with colleagues and organisations that share this vision and have an impact on large numbers of educators.
