ABOUT ROMEO SALAU
I am a year 13 student at USP College, and currently study Classical Civilisation, English Literature, & Psychology. My A-Level predicted grades are A*A*A*. I am an aspiring lawyer, and I am intrigued by jurisprudence, philosophy, psychology, and politics. I am an avid advocate for social mobility and other reforms in order to make a more fair, & better society with more opportunities for disenfranchised and less privileged individuals. I am also a keen reader of everything from Classics to English novels, and am intellectually curious. I have a wealth of 10 work experiences as a Legal Intern at a variety of first rate law firms, barristers chambers, and global companies: Matrix Chambers in February, Allen & Overy as well as Linklaters in January, Skadden in October, Bloomberg & Taylor Wessing in August, Weil between July & August, & Penningtons Manches Cooper in July. In May I attended a virtual work experience event by KPMG, and in April 2022 attended work experience with a duty solicitor in London called Garcha & Co. I am the Vice Governor of USP College\'s student council, and I have served in several student council positions for the past 7+ years i.e. being the Vice Governor in USP College for 2 years, and prior to that serving as a Student Champion on 2 different occasions for 2 distinct roles, and before that being a Student Representative. In OPA I was Treasurer of the OAT Trust\'s 1st National Student Council between 20••••21, and served as a S4S leader between 20••••21. I was also the Head Boy at OPA for a period of time. In my spare time I like to play games, listen to music, read literature, watch tv, play pool, travel, and read about the latest medical and technological advancements, as well as current legal affairs. I am always looking for opportunities to meet new people, gain experience, and learn even more to push myself and excel.~The sky is the limit.~
