ABOUT ROMANO PAGLIARI

I specialise in post-graduate-level teaching and research in airport economics and business management, with a particular focus on commercial revenue generation, performance benchmarking, aeronautical pricing, competition policy, privatisation, business strategy and economic regulation. I am also particularly interested in regional aviation, especially aspects of air transport provision in peripheral regionsI work within the Centre of Air Transport Management where I teach on our masters degrees, supervise doctoral students and provide airports, civil aviation regulators and other organisations with consultancy services and bespoke executive training programmes. I have had the privilege of working with: Aena, Abertis, Aéroports de Paris, Avinor, Birmingham Airport, Ecorys, European Commission, GMR Hyderabad International Airport, HITRANS, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, Highlands and Islands Airports, Heathrow Airport, Highlands and Islands Airports, INECO, Irish Government Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, MAVCOM, Schiphol Group, SEO Economics, URS Scott Wilson and Vienna Airport. I sit on the ACI Europe Economics Committee and have been appointed as a special aviation adviser to the board of London Luton Airport Ltd.
