ABOUT ROMAN WILLETS

With over ten years of coaching experience in collegiate, postgraduate, and club swimming, I am passionate about developing and leading teams of high-performers. As the Associate Head Coach at the University of Pittsburgh, I worked with the head coach to implement training programs, recruit and mentor talent, and foster a culture of excellence and collaboration. As an Assistant Coach at The University of Alabama, I worked to improve the team\'s academic and athletic performance, culture, and recruiting. I also volunteered as an Assistant Coach at the University of California, Berkeley, where I learned from some of the best coaches and athletes in the country. I have a BA in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Michigan, and I enjoy motivational speaking and team building activities. I am driven by the mission of empowering student-athletes to excel in and out of the pool, and I bring a unique perspective and experience to the coaching staff.
