As a design-system teamlead, heading a cross-functional team of frontend & mobile engineers and designers, I\'ve successfully- Managed hire plan, getting our team prepared for the upcoming shifts and challenges - hired 2 extra FE (3 total) and 2 designers (3 total). That helped to achieve the year roadmap milestones precisely - Implemented a WhiteLabel system upon existing design-system in a short term (made it within 2 months while it was planned to take over 6 months) that lead to total 50% increase in GMV from our company\'s main products- Developed a unique AI ruleset for design-system that relies on our standards (called Kite AI Directives) and implemented it into product teams. That brought developers to 1.5-3x increase in delivery time (TTM) of implementing design in code with AI- As a further step, implemented a prototype boilerplate based on AI directives for non-engineers to shorten prototyping delivery time. As a result, Product Owners who used the tool increased their time-to-prototype by 2.5x on average (depending on the feature to be prototyped)- Enhanced eNPS process of design-system feedback collection, increasing engagements from 30 up to 70% among developers & designers- Implemented a dashboard-based system that shows real-time design-system coverage among different teams and their repos & packages - that allowed to move from p2p monthly surveys to stable automated approach with high precision and zero human involvement- Additionally, implemented a metric-based dashboard to count incoming bug/improvement requests as design-system health check- Adopted an AI-based process of continuous component showcases update depending on design solutions - brought human engagement to almost none, freeing up developers for more important tasks- Became a mentor for a few teamleads from different teams, onboarding them throughout our main culture and technological processes.
