I am a trial lawyer, husband, father, avid traveler, photographer and car racer. I chair Christian & Barton\'s Litigation Department, guide clients through challenges inside and outside the courtroom, help couples and individuals achieve new levels of trust, authenticity and deep connection, and lead small group voyages to the world\'s most remarkable destinations.

   Engaged in an active motorsports law practice addressing the needs of race track operators, track event organizers, race teams and individuals in a wide array of areas including litigation, contract negotiation, and liability and risk management. Also represent clients in litigation involving product liability, business disputes, medical negligence and First Amendment rights. Chairs DRI’s Law Institute. Past chair of the Virginia Bar Association’s Civil Litigation Section the Defense Research Institute’s Automotive Specialized Litigation Group and Product Liability Conference. Participates in road racing events throughout the eastern half of the United States and is the 2012 BMW Club Racing South Atlantic Champion in the I-Prepared class.
