Led R&D on Zn-air batteries, designing experiments, synthesizing materials, and optimizing electrode fabrication. Published 6 first-author and 1 last-author papers in high-ranked journals. Discovered a hydrogen peroxide-mediated charge storage mechanism, reshaping understanding of charge storage in neutral Zn-air batteries. Studied structure-performance relationships of various catalysts for oxygen reduction and evolution reactions (ORR/OER) in neutral Zn-air systems. Applied advanced characterization techniques (XRD, Raman, SEM, OEMS) to analyze gas evolution, charge storage, and degradation processes. Developed Python-based data analysis workflows, leveraging pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, seaborn, and exploring PyBaMM for physics-based battery modeling. Worked on a side project in Na-ion batteries, developing a scalable presodiation technique for Na₀.₄₄MnO₂, improving cathode capacity by ~80%. Collaborated with battery industry partners, providing expertise in electrochemical analysis and data-driven insights for battery optimization.
