Everything in the universe vibrates (until entropy takes over, at least) and music sets the mood. The basic tenants of Psychoacoustics predict how intervals and tempo affect our mind and common sense predicts how it molds our soul. Though I have broken my compact with that universe and no longer play professionally, I do still enjoy my \"dad-Band\", DEREK AND THE ABDOMINALS and jamming whenever possible w/ my Progressive Campfire Music buddies.

ABOUT ROM ROSENBLUM
A child of the placid ’50s and tumultuous ’60s, Rom has always been a capable yet rebellious audio-guy. Originally in the music recording business as a studio-rat at Tritone Studios in TA, Electric Lady Studios in NYC, Chief Engineer at 9 West Studios in NJ, Owner of SoundScape Studios in Oakland, CA and numerous others. A veteran of a long, Emmy Award-Winning career in Live TV broadcasting, Rom worships at the altar of All Things Audio. Rom had a 25-year career in Sports TV audio, as lead audio, doing all major league sports, many postseason events including World Cup, World Series, NBA Finals, Superbowls, and many Olympic Games. Married to Debby Graudenz MFT. Father to Avi Rosenblum.As one of the Applications Engineers at Clear-Com, he, like his compadres, works as a catch-all fixer for folks who do tech support, system pre-sales design, product development,(he holds the patent for The Rom-Bom audio test tool), post-sales support and like any good bartender, acts as a psychotherapist to forlorn customers, end-users and integrators. Working to plan and set up trade show booths, help plan new directions for gear and sales strategies, explaining to Marketing, Engineering and Product Management as to what happens where the rubber meets the road. Rom travels around the globe commissioning systems, helping and teaching and absolutely loves his work.
