ABOUT ROLLO DAVIES.

After leaving the Metropolitan Police in the 1990s, I\'ve had the pleasure of working in a range of security management roles. Firstly, I worked for two excellent London 5 star hotels, the Carlton Tower and The Conrad International. Here I learned the value of attention to detail and exceeding the most demanding of expectations, 5 star client service traits which define my management style today.Since then I\'ve expanded my knowledge to include FM management, spending some time as facilities manager at a landmark City office development, Alder Castle, gaining extensive experience in third party contract handling.A dedicated and enthusiastic physical security professional, I strive to actively help improve standards, becoming a fellow of the Institute of Strategic Risk Management, co-founder of the Guild of Security Industry Professionals, member of the Security Institute, and a founding steering committee member of the IFPO\'s United Kingdom and Ireland Chapter. I\'m also immensely pleased to have been the Managing Editor of the internationally respected publication for physical security professionals, The Professional Security Officer magazine (TPSO). A FREE quarterly online news and reference resource, supported by some of the biggest names in global security.This has led to a degree of recognition for my work.In 2019, I was honoured to be ranked the World\'s #2 Security Industry Influencer for \'Thought Leadership\', by a panel of 30 international judges, for the IFSEC Global organisation. Shortly after this I was humbled to be declared Winner of the prestigious \'George van Schalkwyk\' award for Outstanding Contribution to the UK Security Industry, presented by The Security Institute.To my great surprise and immense pleasure, I was recently informed that I was a finalist for \"Security Manager of the Year\", at the Security & Fire Excellence Awards 2022 and the OSPAs 2023.Recently, whilst with Bold Security Group, I managed their flagship Government contract, and assisted with marketing, promotions, and development of an award winning lone worker safety system, called Salus, which won at the Security and Fire Excellence Awards 2021.Currently I\'m helping GuardPass Limited with their trailblazing new Flexible Guarding service.
