My role centres on empathy, consistency, and empowerment, ensuring that every young person feels safe, valued, and capable of growth.At Aaban Partnership, I work with individuals facing complex mental health and behavioural challenges, guiding them toward resilience and independence. Each day involves meaningful engagement — from one-to-one conversations and therapeutic interventions to community activities that promote emotional wellbeing and self-reliance.I approach every task, whether supporting someone through a difficult moment or helping them cook a meal, as a chance to foster trust and connection. Collaboration with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams is vital to ensure continuity of care and effective safeguarding.Key responsibilities:• Build therapeutic relationships grounded in empathy, respect, and consistency.• Support and deliver interventions tailored to individual emotional and behavioural needs.• Monitor physical and mental wellbeing, ensuring safety and compliance with safeguarding standards.• Conduct and review risk assessments and incident reports in line with policy.• Promote skill-building, independence, and positive daily engagement.• Apply DBT-informed communication and de-escalation strategies.• Maintain accurate, confidential records and contribute to reflective team discussions.• Participate in training and handovers, bringing reliability, collaboration, and positivity to the team.Every interaction — big or small — is an opportunity to help young people rediscover their sense of purpose, belonging, and hope
