ABOUT ROLAND RICHER
Project Manager at Mace Consult. I studied BSc Construction Management at the University College of Estate Management alongside my day-to-day employment as a degree apprentice Health & Safety consultant with Faithful+Gould from 20••••23. In August 2023 I completed my degree with an upper second class honours, graduating formally in early December 2023. My experience spans both Health & Safety and Project Management across various sectors of the UK construction industry. I am an associate member of the Association for Project Management (APM), working towards NEC Accreditation, ChPP status and MAPM. I also hold the NEBOSH Health & Safety Management for Construction (UK) qualification alongside having passed an IOSH and APS accredited Design Risk Management course. I have over 6 years of industry experience across a wide range of roles on various projects, spanning sectors such as education, commercial, residential, infrastructure, defence, justice, and local government / local authority. I have a passion for sustainability and the environment, and did my dissertation on Net Zero in the UK construction industry in addition to passing my LCA Assessor foundation training. I am always searching for innovative ways to make a positive difference in the industry, especially in terms of physical materials and products that can be practically implemented on site.
