I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Advanced Manufacturing at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC. My research focuses on Digital Twins, Cyber-Physical Systems, Human–Robot Collaboration, and AI/ML-based advanced analytics in manufacturing. I am deeply passionate about the development of intelligent manufacturing systems and contributing to the transformation of the global manufacturing landscape.I have strong skills in Python, R and MATLAB. Additionally, I possess hands-on experience with advanced engineering and simulation tools such as ANSYS, SolidWorks. I have accumulated a total of 4 years and 8 months of professional experience prior to rejoining academia. My most recent role was as a Power Plant Operations Engineer at the Electricity Generation Company of Bangladesh (EGCB), a state-owned power generation enterprise, where I served for 2 years and 7 months. In this capacity, I gained extensive experience working with Mark VI Speedtronic Gas Turbine Control Systems, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and Bently Nevada Compressor Monitoring Systems.Following that, I joined the Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited (DPDC) in October/2021, where I contributed to an infrastructure development project. My responsibilities primarily focused on the HVAC and Firefighting Systems for 132/33/11 kV indoor substations, as well as underground cable laying works for power distribution. I was actively involved in design reviews, quality monitoring and testing, and construction management. My role also included architectural proposal evaluations, and oversight of piling and shoring systems, grounding systems, HVAC and Firefighting system designs, along with electrical design and installation activities. This experience substantially strengthened my expertise in project management, while broadening my technical proficiency and enhancing my communication and coordination skills. Earlier in my career, I worked as an Assistant Engineer and Head of the Pangsha Minor Irrigation Zone under the Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC), overseeing operations across three sub-districts and approximately 60% of the Rajbari District in the Dhaka Division. I subsequently served as an Assistant Engineer (E/M) at the Dredger Services Circle, Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) in Narayanganj for six months.
