About Rojen Wairokpam

I am a Computer Science Engineering student at the National Institute of Technology Manipur driven by curiosity, problem-solving, and a strong interest in building technology that creates real-world impact.My interests lie in artificial intelligence, embedded systems, and developing practical solutions that address real-world challenges. I enjoy working on projects that combine software, hardware, and data to build intelligent systems.I developed DSGF-LEWS (Dynamic Satellite–Ground Fusion Grid-Based Landslide Early Warning System), which integrates satellite data with ground sensor networks to improve landslide risk monitoring and early warning. The project was exhibited at the AI Impact Summit India 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, and received First Runner-up positions at TechSprint Manipur 1.0 (2026) and ReGen Hackathon 2.0 (2026). The Dynamic Satellite–Ground Fusion methodology used in the system is currently under patent filing.I also contributed to PhungaLearn, an EdTech platform focused on improving primary education through local languages and digital storytelling, which secured Runner-up at UBA EduThon 2025.Beyond these, I am building a Fixed-Wing Autonomous Drone (DIY UAV) project involving embedded systems, wireless communication using NRF24L01 modules, and GPS-based navigation, and I developed potholesinmanipur.com, a community platform that allows citizens to report road infrastructure issues through location-based mapping and public reporting.I previously worked as an intern at Codexp and currently serve as Vice President of the Reverb Collective Music Club at NIT Manipur, where I coordinate a community of 40+ members and organize workshops and collaborative projects.I enjoy collaborating with passionate people, exploring new technologies, and continuously learning while building meaningful solutions.
