ABOUT ROHIT VASU
I am a software engineer and a mainframe developer that is currently working for the Veterans Benefits Affairs. In my previous role I was a developer with FIS, a global leader in financial technology solutions, where I built a strong foundation for COBOL and Mainframe technology. Additionally, I have experience in JCL, CICS, and Easytrieve while working with financial institutions such as Citi Group and First Bank Puerto Rico. I graduated in 2022 with a degree in Software Engineering, where I developed a passion for technology and creativity. I have also completed two software engineering internships in Bali, Indonesia, and Chengdu, China, where I gained experience in back-end web development, Python, Django, and virtual reality. I am always eager to learn new skills and take on challenging projects that help me grow professionally and personally. My goal is to find a role where I can apply my software engineering and mainframe development skills to create innovative and impactful solutions for the financial industry.
