About Rohit Saboo

I am currently working as a principal engineer at Amazon. Prior to this, I have led work on ML solutions at Nauto, worked as a founding engineer for a search startup, and been a part of several projects in Google search and Google Robotics.Before joining Google, I did a dissertation in Medical Image Analysis at UNC Chapel Hill. My work during graduate school became part of a startup, which was eventually bought by Accuray. I received my Bachelors from Indian Institute of Technology Madras in Computer Science and Engineering. I have an interest in distributed systems and machine learning.I’m passionate about solving challenging technology problems, and building and mentoring teams while leveraging my skills in software engineering, concurrent programming, distributed systems and machine learning.
