ABOUT ROHIT RAWAT

As a kid, I would try to deconstruct my toys to understand how and why they worked as they do. My broken toys did not stop me from questioning the fundamentals of how things worked. I attribute my most significant wins to my inquisitive nature to shape my overall understanding of the world and its workings. I truly believe that \"Money makes the world go round\" in this capitalistic society, so I decided to step into the intriguing world of finance. I started off my professional journey as a \'Valuation Analyst\' working with International clients which helped me gain a lot of experience in how businesses are valued using DCF, Comps, and Transactions using projections and multiples. I have also worked as an \'Equity Research Analyst\', including buy-side investment research. My roles and responsibilities included screening high-quality listed stocks in multiple sectors, analysing annual reports to figure out the \'\'MOAT\' and creating detailed equity research reports by summarising my investment thesis. Currently, working with Bayfront Capital Advisors, a boutique investment bank based out of Singapore has given me a good amount of exposure to the world of startups and fundraising. Talking to founders and listening to their pitches has given me an insight into how exciting our future is going to be.
