Here\'s a synopsis of my journey in construction so far.I did my Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering in TKM College of Engineering, Kollam in Kerala, India.After Graduating, I got my first job experience as a Site Engineer in Infra Housing Private Limited, a company predominant in residential apartments in Cochin, Kerala. My career then led me back to UAE where I worked as a Quantity Surveyor with Target Engineering Construction Company in Abu Dhabi, which helped me gain much needed exposure in the Commercial Aspects of Construction including Payments, Budgeting and Subcontractor Management. Then I decided to pursue my education by joining California State University Long Beach for Masters in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Management. I was fortunate to do a Summer Internship with Turner Construction Company in the LA Rams Stadium in Inglewood, California, one of the biggest projects in SoCal region, where I was entrusted to review Submittals, draft RFI\'s, preparation of Bid Packages and conduct Quantity Take-Offs. Along with pursuing my Masters, I had an On- Campus Job working as a Graduate Student Assistant for Professor Dr. Shadi Saadeh in association with Caltrans conducting the (JTCP) Joint Training and Certification Program. Having Graduated in Spring 2019, I started working with Erickson-Hall Construction Co. as a Construction Project Engineer. One of the projects I worked on is Griffiths Middle School in Downey, whose scope included Modernization of 13 Classroom Buildings, Construction of a New Gym Building & a New Two-Storied Classroom Building. Another project was Olita Elementary School in La Habra, whose scope included Roof Replacement & Adding of New HVAC Units. Then I started working for AECOM in Pomona California; we helped provide temporary shelters and basic necessities for immigrant children. Currently, I am providing Construction Management Services to the Whittier Union High District across their six campuses involving new Construction and Modernization Projects. Software Skills- MS Office, Autocad, BlueBeam, MS Project, Procore, Matlab, Revit, Minitab, Staad, Microsoft Teams.Certification- 1) CMIT Certification offered by the Construction Manager Association of America (CMMA).2) Procore Certified Engineer & Manager offered by Procore Technologies.

   AECOM - Whittier Union High School District, Construction Management Services, Whittier, California. Construction Manager - Responsible for managing new and modernization construction projects within the District’s six school campuses – Sierra Vista High School, Pioneer High School, La Serna High School, California High School, Santa Fe High School, and Whittier High School. Projects have varied from swimming pool renovation, Solatube installation, new locker installation, bus wash station, CNG upgrades, parking lot reconfiguration, deep cleaning, painting, flooring, and restroom renovations. Duties include reviewing change orders, pay application reviews, daily reports, photo documentation, obtaining estimates, drafting proposals, conducting meetings and job walks and bid comparisons. Reviewed project schedules, logistics setup and closeout documentation.
