About Rohit Murthy

I am currently an autonomous driving engineer at NVIDIA. I was previously a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University pursuing a Master of Science in Robotic Systems Development (MRSD). I have an undergraduate degree from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati with a major in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science. I would describe myself as a dedicated individual, with a strong work ethic - be that in the sphere of academia, sports or literary endeavors.I have been exposed to a number of disciplines through my curriculum and co-curricular activities and the one that has appealed to me the most is Robotics. I find that Robotics is dynamic, innovative and it has the potential to effect change throughout the world, but above all I find it exciting and this is what keeps me motivated and interested. I am exploring the depths of this field through my courses at CMU and have found a keen interest in the Motion Planning and Learning for robots. I always welcome the opportunity to connect with like-minded academics and industry professionals.
