About Rohit Komirisetty
I am a transport planner with a master\'s degree in Urban Transportation Systems from CEPT University, one of the leading institutions in India for urban planning. I have over two years of practical experience in highway engineering, where I worked on road network design, pavement design, traffic surveys, and analysis for various projects. My passion lies in the fields of transport modelling, GIS, comprehensive mobility plan (CMP), and planning of public transport systems. I have developed skills in using EMME, a software tool for transport modelling and analysis, and GIS, a tool for spatial data management and visualization. I have also gained exposure to the concepts and practices of transit-oriented development (TOD) and non-motorized transport (NMT) through my internship at the Directorate of Urban Land Transport, where I worked as part of a team in auditing NMT infrastructure and developing action plans for two TOD zones. I am actively seeking a position that will leverage my skills and contribute to the growth of an organization that is committed to improving the quality and accessibility of urban transport systems.
