Experience

  1. Analytical Scientist

    Momentive

    Jan 2025 — Present · Bengaluru, IN

Led a complex root cause analysis of automotive thermal interphase material (TIM) failure in BMW-IDCevo and Tesla automotive car computer using advanced techniques (SEM-EDS, FTIR, NMR, TGA, Micro-Raman) and compiled the findings into an 8D report, delivering timely solution enabling and sustaining business worth $10M.• Developed and optimized micro-Raman spectroscopy method to detect and determine the composition of easy to clean polymer coating on glass substrates for consumer automative application with a coating thickness <5nm. The method was effective in identifying the degradation products and underlying mechanism of degradation of coating under QUV weathering conditions.• Hands on experience in measuring nano surface features and mechanical properties of polymer coatings using AFM. • Conducted reverse engineering and advanced surface analyses (SEM-EDS, FTIR, TGA) of polymer composite and anodised aluminium substrates from Apple. Provided critical insights into surface treatment effects, adhesion performance and batch‑to‑batch variations impacting anti fingerprint coating quality.
