Optimized the reimbursement dashboard’s performance: tuned PostgreSQL database queries and added Sidekiq for heavy background tasks (like email notifications and report generation). These improvements roughly halved page load times and kept the interface snappy even under heavy use. Updated the Rails codebase following SOLID design principles, cleaning up the architecture and removing duplicated logic. This made it much easier for the team to add new features and maintain the system, since the code was more organized and readable. Practiced Test-Driven Development (TDD): wrote tests before coding each new feature. This caught bugs early and kept releases stable, so updates could be pushed confidently without breaking existing functionality. Collaborated across teams: worked closely with the product manager and designers on 10+ projects, keeping everyone on the same page. By staying adaptable and communicating clearly, each feature was delivered on schedule and often ahead of time.
