Prepare the annual supplier audit calendar and conduct the supplier audit (System, process & product) regularly to ensure vendors and their supplies remain in compliance with company andfederal manufacturing and production standards. Follow up with supplier for action plan & training based on countermeasures. Interface with vendors for existing products on day-to-day quality concerns, and follow up withsuppliers. Support vendors in quality up-gradation & supplier evaluation through supplier processaudit. Supporting and developing suppliers in establishing improvement programs, verifying theimplementation of quality improvement programs sat suppliers. Participates in the Development of Suppliers using Training, Consulting and providing Suggestions toimprove their Performance. Responsible for the corrective action/countermeasures on quality issues related to supplierparts. Conducting Risk Assessment Analysis for identifying parts under the APQP route to smoothen thedevelopment process with minimal risks Ensuring the supplier performances are monitored periodically & necessary corrective action is takenat the supplier end. Trouble report generation and monitoring. Effectiveness of countermeasure taken by vender. Inspection of all components (Die-casting, Machining, sheet metal, springs, rubber, Plastic Etc.) Through layout as per drawing. Responsible for initiating & implementing corrective/preventive actions for external customercomplaints. Support for inspection & development of new model samples & purchase order samples. Making PPM, QUALITY RATING and MRM data and re-present the same to the concerned person. Conducting Vendor up-gradation drives like Quality review meetings with suppliers on weekly bases infront of Top Management. Responsible for checking all the material and posting the same in ERP. Responsible for Material testing of all Child Parts and verifying the report as provided customer’s std.
