MPJNM Bhopal has proposed an scheme for water supply in 05 blocks of Satna and Rewa district, the name of scheme is Satna – Bansagar 2 Multi village Rural Water Supply Scheme District Satna and Rewa (M.P.). The cost of the work is Rs. 1872.88/- Cores and period of completion is 30 months. Under this package 995 villages are covered for supply of safe / treated drinking water from Bansagar dam.Under this scheme a Intake Well cum Pump House having capacity of 206.62 MLD & 05 Nos. of vertical turbine pumps are proposed for pumping the raw water from Bansagar Dam to proposed WTP site. For treating raw water 166.00 MLD (in 23 hrs). Capacity water treatment plant. There will be a tunnel of length 1500 m and in 3 M width to carry clear water. Treaded clear water will be transmitted through pumping main of 44.48 km from WTP. Other than pumping main clear water will be transmitted through 1206.42 km gravity main. There will be 298 nos. OHSR of capacity 100 KL to 650 KL and construction of MBR (at WTP) – 5450 KL -10m staging, construction of MBR (1) – 160 KL – 18m staging, construction of MBR (2) – 150 KL 18m staging. Clear water from ESR will be distributed to 1019 villages through HDPE and DI pipe of length 6041.90 km pipelines. In this scheme total 296414 nos. house service connection will be provided.
