Built an actioned revenue dashboard (Google PLX, SQL) for Google marketing leadership, providing real-time insights for data-driven decision-making. Optimization of SQL scripts using advanced optimization methods like data sharding, query hints, hash joins, temp tables, table functions, and macros to further enhance query run time. Utilized advanced SQL window functions for data analysis. Created reusable SQL module files (functions, macros) to streamline data transformations and calculations. Developed Python scripts in colab to fetch marketing data, enabling a holistic view of marketing campaigns for comprehensive analysis. Leveraged NumPy and Pandas in Python to analyze marketing campaigns and generate deeper insights through efficient data manipulation. Automated workflows and implemented unit testing, including assertion tests and error functions, to ensure data quality, pipeline integrity, and highlight anomalies in the data. Implemented version control of dashboard to ensure a robust feature deployment process in PROD dashboard. Created bash script to auto deploy new dashboard features into DEV environment for testing, resulting in improved dashboard accuracy, reliability and maintainability. This feature reduced DEV dashboard creation time from 3-4 hours to 15 minutes. Lead weekly data analysis of the entire reporting data to proactively identify and troubleshoot anomalies caused by source tables, unexpected code changes, and unexpected errors. Reviewed code written by junior team members to ensure adherence to Google SQL coding guidelines, fostering code maintainability and best practices.
