Blackstone Corridor- Mobility + Housing Study, Fresno, California Prior to WRT, Rohit worked as a manager in the Urban Transport and Road Safety program at the World Resources Institute’s (WRI\'s) India office, where his efforts are focused on making cities walkable, bike-able, and safer for all street users including children. The key programs Rohit worked on include: A. Bloomberg Initiative for Global Road Safety - Neighborhood-level mobility plans for E ward, in Mumbai - Intersection repair and transformation projects in Mumbai, Ho Chi Minh City, and Bangkok- Street redesign and rejuvenation projects in Mumbai - Black spot identification and mitigation in Mumbai and Bangkok - Crash data analysis for Mumbai - Safer Access to Schools initiative in Mumbai and Ho Chi Minh City B. 3M Partnership - Safer Access to Schools Project in Mumbai C. Oak Foundation - Streets and intersection rejuvenation project - Pickup Bhavan Road redesign, in Lucknow D. Bernard Van Leer Foundation -State-level Infant, toddler, caregiver-friendly mobility policy Apart from these organizations, Rohit has also worked with JanaUSP, Bangalore on Tender SURE Street Rejuvenation project, and HCPDPM, Ahmedabad on Sabaramati Riverfront Redevelopment Project. Rohit holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Pune University and a master’s degree in urban design from the University of California at Berkeley, for which he received the prestigious Fulbright Fellowship.
