As the overseer of automation equipment across India, your primary objective is to maximize uptime by minimising downtime caused by equipment breakdowns.Manage Sorters and DWS systems from vendors such as KENGIC, FALCON, NIDO, UNBOX, V-MEASURE, ARMSTRONG, and GOR. Closely monitoring productivity and efficiency, tracking breakdowns, investigating the root cause of issues, monitoring adherence to scheduled maintenance, and identifying opportunities for system improvements. be responsible for training Sorter operators on adequately handling the systems and equipment operations to maximise utilisation and productivity while preventing breakdowns due to mishandling.to monitor open issues at the site and actively close them to ensure proper system functioning and improved equipment reliability. You will also define the work content, roles, and responsibilities of the Sorter operations team, providing daily maintenance, identifying and closing open issues, monitoring critical performance parameters, and troubleshooting equipment during breakdowns to minimise downtime.Frequent interaction with site teams, sorter operators, and vendor teams is necessary to ensure seamless coordination and operations of the system. This includes implementing improvements and taking care of trouble cases.Finally, will be responsible for tracking and maintaining spare parts procured for the equipment at the site. This is done through regular auditing and maintaining a consumption list of the spares used up during breakdowns.By taking on this role, will play a vital part in increasing the productivity, efficiency, safety, health, and reliability of the equipment.
