ABOUT ROHIT SANE

I’m an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a subspeciality training in Shoulder Surgery — an area of orthopaedics that continues to inspire and challenge me. My practice blends advanced keyhole (arthroscopic) techniques with joint replacement surgery to offer comprehensive care for shoulder injuries and conditions.My journey in subspeciality training began with a one-year Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine Fellowship in Coimbatore, India (ISAKOS-recognized), where I had the privilege of learning under Dr. David Rajan, Dr. Santosh Sahanand, and Dr. Shyam Sundar. While the training covered a wide range of knee and sports-related procedures, it was the intricate biomechanics and surgical precision of shoulder work that truly captured my interest.This passion led me to Brisbane, Australia, where I completed a prestigious one-year Shoulder Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty Fellowship (AOA-accredited) with renowned shoulder surgeons Dr. Kenneth Cutbush and Dr. Ashish Gupta. This experience deepened my skills in both minimally invasive procedures like rotator cuff repair and instability surgery, as well as shoulder replacements — including reverse shoulder arthroplasty.I’m committed to delivering focused, evidence-based care that restores function and improves quality of life for people with shoulder problems — whether that’s a young athlete with instability or an older adult with arthritis.
