I lead engineering teams building large-scale systems in the travel space—platforms that power booking, payments, and partner integrations where reliability, performance, and trust directly impact revenue.Over the past 10+ years, I’ve learned that the hardest problems aren’t technical in isolation—they’re system problems.Distributed systems. Incomplete data. Real-world complexity.More recently, my focus has shifted toward applying LLMs in these environments.Not demos. Not prototypes.But production systems where events are asynchronous, signals are noisy, and failures are part of the design.Beyond my core team, I’ve partnered with multiple teams across Priceline to shape how AI/LLMs are applied to real business problems—moving from experimentation to production impact.I’m particularly interested in: • LLM-driven anomaly detection in distributed systems • Making AI reliable through system design, not just prompt engineering • Bridging the gap between AI potential and production realityI’ve filed a patent in this space and continue to explore how LLMs can better understand complex system behavior.Most of what I share here comes from one core belief: AI doesn’t simplify systems.
