About Rohit Ramanand

Rohit Ramanand is currently Site Leader and Group Vice President at New Relic. He leads the engineering team for India and also owns the engineering for the Growth and Monetization of New Relic\'s products. In the past Rohit has excelled in multiple roles at Walmart, starting as an architect for the ASDA groceries eCommerce Platform. He has contributed significantly to Walmart CA eCommerce and was part of the team that built the first online grocery platform at Walmart. Rohit set up and led the Sam\'s Club Engineering team at Walmart IDC and was primarily involved in developing the technology to grow the Club\'s PickUp business. He led the engineering for Mexico\'s eCommerce team and Merchandising for all of Walmart International.Currently, he is responsible for catalog content, which involves defining and improving the quality of catalog listings, reducing the time and cost of the items, and setting up and supervising innovations in the merchandising process. He is also part of the IDC leadership group working with center-level initiatives and activities.Before Walmart, Rohit worked with Encora Technologies building an early Edge Deployment platform for Limelight Networks. He has worked with technology solutions across the automotive and insurance domains during his time with Sapient. He had begun his career with Finacle Banking solution from Infosys and was one of the earliest members of the team that helped build and launch their eBanking suite of products.
