About Rohit Prakash
My interests include genomic instability and cancer. In order to better understand these molecular processes, my Ph.D and postdoctoral work focused on the biochemical and genetic studies of DNA repair and homologous recombination proteins that are important for error- free repair of DNA double-strand breaks. I have extensive training in biochemical investigations of DNA repair proteins including protein purification, and various biochemical assay. I have expertise in genome editing using CRISPR, TALEN, ZFNs in human, murine cells and mouse models. In my current role, I\'m involved in technological advancement of cell line development.
