That time taught me the importance of risk management, market cycle, and making decisions based on process rather than narratives.Genvest (earlier Coin Street) was started in 2023 to address a gap I kept seeing in the marketAfter COVID, as more individuals started participating in equity markets, I began working more closely with individual investors. Access to markets had improved, but personalised, process-driven advisory had not, resulting in below par portfolio returns.At Genvest, we operate as an advisory-first, SEBI-registered investment advisory platformFrom day one, our approach has been quantitative, not to add complexity, but to bring consistency and discipline to portfolio decisions. Over time we’ve deepened our data analysis and use AI to strengthen in-house research, execution, and to deliver personalised advice at scale Our belief is straightforward. We invest our own money in everything we recommend. We take on additional capital only when we believe we can add value to it.
