ABOUT ROHIT NEWADKAR
I have finished my MSc in Professional Accounting from RMIT University, Melbourne. The program gave me an excellent opportunity to develop a strong skill set required to be successful in the field of work I aspire to be a part of. I have previously completed my Bachelors in Commerce from Mumbai University with a first class in 2013.I have worked as a management trainee in a Sales capacity at Saral Financial Services while undergoing my Certified Financial Planning (CFP) certification through FPSB, India.I was an intern at Centrum Wealth Management Ltd, Mumbai for a period of 6 months as part of their wealth team. Here, I had the opportunity to arrange meetings with several high net worth clients and also represented the wealth management team in carrying out existing clients\' transactions and meeting their short term and long term requirements. I achieved multiple team and personal targets, and polished my financial planning skills while observing suitable investment plans for the clients.I have developed good people skills as a result of face to face interactions with multiple clients and aim to improve on my previous performances through a rigorous Masters program that has helped me grow as an individual and build a career in the accounting and financial services sectors.During my stay in Australia on completion of my Masters program, I was employed as a Client Service Associate for Coles Online, which gave me the opportunity to learn and operate multiple computer systems while also building on my communication skills.I am currently employed with Aditya Birla Finance Ltd as a Product Manager and Portfolio Review Analyst in a dual role which is in line with my desire to gain maximum exposure to multiple Finance Verticals and progress my personal development forward with a view to meeting the company\'s objectives.Reading novels and collecting old coins and notes are two of my prominent hobbies since my schooling days. I attended a 10 day jungle training programme as part of my school initiative and was also a member of the debate team and sports committee. I firmly believe that hard work breeds success and will hep me in my future endeavors. I look forward to building professional networks and enhancing my reach in the corporate world.
