Key Responsibilities: With Effect from April 12 Unit Head Business Banking North handling a portfolio size of Rs cr of Assets and Rs Cr. of Liabilities. Business Banking focuses on meeting the banking requirement of clients in the SME sector which include MSME classified under Priority Sector Lending. The clientele are a diverse mix of Manufacturers, Traders and Service Providers. The responsibility include driving NII and Fee based income from Trade and Fx services. Till April 2012 Heading Infrastructure Finance Group HDFC Bank for North and East India, handling a portfolio of over Cr with a team of 102 Relationship managers. Infrastructure Finance Group is part of the Emerging Corporate Group (Wholesale Banking) of HDFC Bank, which is a dedicated vertical looking after the banking needs of clients executing Infrastructure development projects in India like Ports, Expressways, Power Plants, Real Estate (Commercial and Residential), Mining and Railway projects. The responsibilities include achieving budgets on disbursement of Term loans, Working Capital, Bank Guarantees, LC and Forex income and capturing the liabilities business from Infrastructure clients. Building a liabilities base from the existing portfolio of customers. Market derivatives products & interest rate swaps to large corporate clients and ensure deal closure through aid of Treasury Department. Book forward cover contracts on Letter of Credits executed for import of construction equipment. To achieve Volume and Profitability targets for the above mentioned portfolios. To recruit, develop and motivate human capital to achieve the above results. To achieve results working within an operating network involving both internal Credit and Risk Buyers, Product team and External agencies like Manufacturers, Vendors, Dealers, Legal Valuers and Surveyors and marketing intermediaries, Specialties: Relationship Management, Portfolio Management, P&L ownership.
