With over 11 years of experience in the AML domain, I have led teams across a range of critical initiatives, including data quality assessments, transaction monitoring optimization, AML audits and governance reviews, current state assessments of AML programs, development of AML policy frameworks, risk assessments, model development and model validation. My expertise also extends to investigating transaction monitoring alerts across various business lines such as retail, corporate, correspondent banking, investment banking, and trade finance.I am an advanced-level AML trainer with hands-on experience in both second and third lines of defense (2LOD and 3LOD) functions. I hold CAMS and Sanctions Compliance certifications from ACAMS and stay up to date with evolving industry trends and regulatory expectations. I collaborate closely with teams focused on R&D initiatives aimed at developing AI/ML and automation-driven solutions for Financial Crime Compliance (FCC).I am also working with AI consultants to incorporate Agentic AI workflows, Automated Bots for TM and AI enhancement techniques from a Functional Perspective and AML SME to help reduce false positives and automate process.In addition, I have worked alongside teams responsible for KYC, CDD, and EDD processes.
