I am a Senior Engineer – Flow and Thermal with 6+ years of experience in thermal management and heat transfer, specializing in the design, validation, and optimization of power electronics and energy systems using simulation-driven methodologies. Currently working at Eaton India Innovation Center, a global component manufacturing organization, I am part of the Aerospace business, while having previously supported Mobility programs within Eaton, giving me cross-sector exposure to safety-critical and high-reliability engineering systems.I have built deep expertise in power electronics cooling, including heat sink optimization and the application of advanced cooling technologies such as vapor chambers and heat-pipe-embedded HiK plates. In parallel, I bring strong capability in multiphase flow analysis, having solved complex flow problems involving cavitation, oil splash, and sloshing phenomena. My combined expertise in thermal and multiphase CFD enables me to address coupled performance challenges in electromechanical systems with a holistic, physics-based approach.My technical expertise includes Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT), power equipment cooling, PCB and busbar thermal modeling, Joule heating, coupled electro-thermal analysis, and multiphase flow simulations. I have led end-to-end thermal design ownership, from requirement interpretation and modeling strategy to validation, design reviews, and risk mitigation, while working both independently and with global cross-functional teams.I hold an M.Tech in Thermal & Fluids Engineering from IIT Bombay and have hands-on experience with ANSYS Icepak, Fluent, Mechanical Thermal-Electric, Maxwell 3D, and STAR-CCM+. I also actively work on simulation automation, 1D thermal network modeling, and AI/ML-based fast prediction tools to improve engineering efficiency and design quality.My work has resulted in multiple patents, an Outstanding Technical Award, and contributions across power electronics, pumps, heat exchangers, aerospace components, and industrial energy systems.
